Who we are

We are Art of War Studios (Art of War). Contact Victor and the team at hello@artofwarstudios.com.

Your choice in the game

At first launch, two separate switches ask whether you agree to crash reports and match summaries. Both are off until you say yes. You can change either choice or withdraw consent at any time in Settings → Privacy.

  • Crash reports: the error, stack trace, game version, graphics card and last log lines. These go to Sentry to help us fix crashes.
  • Match summaries: match length and how it ended, points, cards and units used by type, How to Play steps reached, frame time, preset, window size and game version. These help us understand how the game plays. They contain no free text.
  • Feedback notes: your words and topic, plus an optional screenshot and that battle's record of cards and orders. These are sent only when you press SEND.

The website feedback form

The website form is not connected yet and sends nothing. When connected, it will send your words, chosen topic and optional email address so we can understand your feedback and reply. We will keep these for 12 months, then delete them. You can ask us to see or delete your website feedback by emailing hello@artofwarstudios.com.

What we do not collect

The game does not collect names, Steam IDs, chat or anything typed outside the feedback box. IP addresses are used only to limit abuse and are not stored. The website form's reply email is optional; it is separate from game reports.

Your install ID

Each copy of the game creates a random install ID. It links your reports so we can find and delete them. You can see your ID in Settings → Privacy.

Who sees the data

The Art of War team and these service providers process the data:

  • Cloudflare: hosting and storage. Cloudflare Workers AI sorts feedback text into Bugs / Not fun / Ideas / Praise to help us review it. Install IDs are removed before AI sees the text; screenshots and battle records are not sent to AI.
  • Sentry: crash reports. Read Sentry's privacy policy.

Keeping, seeing and deleting your data

We keep reports, summaries, feedback and their attachments for 12 months, then delete them. You can ask to see your game data by emailing us with your install ID. To delete it, use “Delete my data” in the game or email us with that ID. We complete deletion within one month. You can withdraw consent at any time in Settings → Privacy.

Children

The game is for Steam users aged 13 and over. If we learn that a player is under 13, we delete their data.
